Nats put Willingham on DL, activate Morgan

Willingham, whose move is retroactive to August 16, has a medial meniscus tear in his left knee. He has batted .268 with a .389 on-base percentage, 16 home runs and eight stolen bases in 114 games this season, but will likely have surgery.
As Willingham moves to the DL, the Nationals activated Morgan from the 15-day disabled list. He was sidelined with a sore right hip earlier this month, but now rejoins the Nationals and is batting leadoff for Thursday's game against the Braves, playing center field.
Morgan has batted .261 with a .322 OBP and 29 stolen bases this season.
